In 2011, the club I grew up supporting was relegated from the Portuguese top flight to the fourth tier — not because of poor results on the pitch, but because of financial negligence and malpractice off it.
Zelador Football exists so that no club has to go through that again. We give finance directors, sporting directors, and club leadership the financial clarity to make smarter decisions — before the damage is done.
What "Zelador" Means
In Portuguese, "zelador" means caretaker or guardian — someone who looks after what matters.
